Newsletter Summer Term – Number 4 Friday 27th June 2008
Dear Parents and Carers,
Sponsored Bounce
Don’t forget that our sponsored Bounce event is happening next Tuesday. I know many children have already signed up numerous sponsors but please have a final go at getting a few more over the weekend. On this occasion, all the money we raise will be spent on playground resources for our pupils.
Trees on the Village Green
A local resident ‘phoned me this week to complain about children, probably from our school, mistreating the trees on the village green. Obviously we cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of our pupils outside of school, but I have reminded all our children to treat the trees carefully, so that they can continue to be enjoyed by everyone. I would appreciate it if you could also pass this message on to your children.
Letters home
I know that more pieces of paper than ever have been coming home recently (and this is another one!) but this is because of all the fantastic opportunities being organised for the children. Unfortunately some parents have missed out on some important information; so I would ask you all to check in the deepest, darkest, crevices of your children’s bag each day.
Parking

Class 4 Residential Trip 2009
Following my recent letter to the parents of children who will be in Class 4 next year, I am pleased to report that the trip will be going ahead. 30 forms were sent out and 23 returned, with 21 “yes” responses. We will firm up the arrangements next week and send out further details before the end of term.
Yours sincerely
